    This luxury service makes your tour as comfortable as a trail trek can possibly be – fit for royalty!
    The luxury upgrade to Machu Picchu is highly recommended for families, groups of friends, couples and honeymooners!
    We do everything we can to minimize the “roughing it” part of the experience. You will only carry a small day-pack (which should include items such as a waterproof jacket, sun protection cream, insect repellent, water and camera). Porters will carry the rest of your personal belongings.
    With our luxury service, we will work with you to select your preferred food!!!

    Note: Private Service means that your trekking group is limited to only people you select.

    • Round trip private transportation to kilometer 82 and tourist train** back to Ollantaytambo station) Return transportation
    • Entrance fee to Inca Trail and Machu Picchu
    • Round trip bus ticket from Machu Picchu citadel to Aguas Calientes (town nearest to Machu Picchu).
    • 3 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 3 afternoon snacks, 3 dinners and various snacks to be eaten throughout the day. Breakfast on day 1 and lunch in Aguas Calientes are not included.
    • Duffle bag (in which to put 7 kilos of personal belongings-includes sleeping bag)

    ** Train included in all tours is the Cerrojo Expedition (to Ollantaytambo). Train times will only be confirmed once full amount of tour is paid. The earliest train you could take is the 13:37pm and being the 9:20pm the last train. Our Company will organize the transport back to Cusco (by taxi or by bus).

    *7 kilos includes sleeping bag(3 kilos). .
    Expedition-class train is included in all tours to Machu Picchu. Your train departure time will be confirmed when we receive your full payment. The earliest train available leaves at 1:37 p.m. The last train leaves at 9:20 p.m. Our travel agency will arrange the transportation from Ollantaytambo back to your hotel in Cusco (by taxi or by bus).

    Please Note: train times are subject to change depending on Peru rail time table and availability. If arranged in advance, the train can be upgraded to Vistadome (larger windows than the backpacker Cerrojo train) for additional cost

    Please Note: Difficulty level is highly dependent on your fitness level and how you acclimate to the altitude.


    What you need to take:
    • Original passport (and *International Student card (ISIC) if applicable)
    • Travel Insurance is essential .
    • Sleeping bag (not included but can be rented from us)
    • Walking boots ( hiking shoes are ok too)
    • Waterproof jacket or rain poncho
    • Warm jacket, hat and gloves
    • T-shirts

    *To qualify as a student, it is necessary to have a valid ISIC card.

    We Supply:
    • Re-usable plastic or metal water container or camel bags.
    You will need to supply your water for first 4 hours of the trek. After that, we provide you with previously boiled drinking water.

    There is a $30 discount for students with a valid ISIC card. There is also a $30 discount for children 11 years and younger.

    The balance of your payment will be made in OUR office in Cusco. It is due within 48 hours of commencement of your tour. Payment is to be made in Soles at an exchange rate of 2.7 Peruvian Soles per $1 US dollar.

    Expected Weather in Cusco and the Inca Trail
    In Cusco, April to October is the dry season. The days are usually sunny and hot, but temperatures drop abruptly after 5-6 p.m. until 7-8 a.m.

    November to March is the wettest season. The weather is very changeable, and heavy rains can be expected. However, it is warmer than in the dry season. Evenings can be quite chilly.

    Please note: The charted temperatures were taken at 3400 meters. The temperature changes with changes in altitude (higher altitude = colder).

    Also note that it could be wet on the 3rd and 4th day of the Inca Trail due to clouds and the wet forest region.
